Blog Brainstorm

You're going to take a minute and think about what message you would like to share with others. To do this, you are going to take the following steps:

1. On the top of your sticky note, write your blog topic.
2. Then, write 2-3 sentences on what your blog will be about.
3. Brainstorm different images that will match your topic.

This is going to be quick and without talking. We will take no more than 5 minutes to do this.

Work It, Write It

Now you get the chance to actually record your stories so people can read them! Some of you got some practice with this last week, but now you'll be writing in on some of the templates we'll be using.

1. Write in your story in the appropriate spot on the template. (For Facebook and Blogger, this will be in paragraph form. For Twitter, you will come up with 5 short sentences consisting of no more than 140 letters, numbers, and spaces).
2. Draw pictures that you would want to see attached with your post. (4-5)

This is a SILENT and INDEPENDENT activity, which means I should hear nothing above the music.

You don't want to end up like our friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley...

Blog Swap

You guys are now going to see what blogs other people are going to be writing in this class. Follow these directions:

1. Look over the other person's blog.
2. Write on a Post-It Note: one thing that you think is going to be really cool and one thing that would make the blog cooler
3. When you're finished, raise your hand and I will swap out a new blog for you.

And please remember...
